Steve Kaloustian - Head Instructor

Steve is a life long martial artist, starting at a young age he trained with his brother in a traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu system. Through the years this opened many other training opportunities for him including wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Steven gravitated towards Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Steven is a blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a multiple time IBJJF champion, a NAGA champion, a Grapplers Quest champion and an ADCC silver medalist.


Phil Archer - Wrestling Coach

Phil has been training as a wrestler since he was 5 years old. In high school he was a Suffolk County Wrestling Champion. He attended Cortland where he was team captain and an NCAA Division 3 All-American. He has coached at a High School level for 7 years.

Some of Coach Archers titles include being an Empire State Games Gold Medalist and coach, World Police and Fire Games Gold Medalist. He is also an active JiuJitsu competitor, New York Spring International Gold Medalist, Pan Ams Silver Medalist and has competed at ADCC trials.


Omar - Instructor

Omar has been training in Martial Arts for over 15 years. He has won multiple Gold Medals over the years including taking 1st place at the 2013 Pan Ams. He is currently a 1st degree black belt and one of the head BJJ instructors at Freedom Jiu Jitsu.


Anthony Giacchina - Instructor

Anthony is a professional MMA fighter who has been training in Mixed Martial Arts since 2008. He holds a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu. Anthony has competed at the highest levels in both MMA and Jiu Jitsu - competing for Bellator and at the Worlds IBJJF. He is a Bellator Vet, Worlds IBJJF vet, Worlds Master IBJF vet, RISE invitational vet, SOGI vet, United States Fight League Champion, Top Kick Super Fight Champion, 5x Goodfight Champion (gi/no gi), TAP Cancer Out Champion, Big Apple Open Champion, BJJ Tour Bronze Medalist, IBJJF Boston Open Bronze Medalist and IBJJF Pro Bronze Medalist.
